The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of plant machinery and automated equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing all plant machinery, including palletisers, injection moulding, and robotics
  • Performing preventative and total productive maintenance (PPM/TPM)
  • Fault-finding and diagnostics on PLC systems, including Alan Bradley and Siemens
  • Working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime
  • Managing and ordering stock parts for maintenance

The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A recognised Engineering Qualification or be Apprentice Trained
  • Ideally, hold an 18th Edition certification
  • Proven ability to fault-find, diagnose, and repair machinery with minimal downtime
  • Experience working with PPM schedules and within FMCG environments
  • Preferably 70% Mechanical/30% Electrical though other biases will be considered
