Act as a product specialist, providing technical support to internal and external sales teams. Manage new product development, implementation, and project organisation. Manage the approval process for samples of new products and product revisions. Handle engineering changes and supplier/customer change requests. Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures for production processes. Manage SolidWorks drawings and related documentation. Create part numbers, Bills of Materials, assembly instructions, and visual aids for production teams. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. Primary interface between Customers and internal stakeholders. Progressing design engineering, operation’s and customer support department to ensure  project objectives are being achieved. Responsible for customer project review meetings and objectives Responsible for achievement of factory acceptance test sign off. Maintaining communication with the customer on project status including. Preparation and maintenance of project plans and other project related documentation. Travel throughout  the UK as required to achieve the project objectives. Responsible for project costs in accordance with approved project budgets. What will you bring to the role? Strong experience in managing customer projects. A technical understanding and approach to engineering projects. Experience in manufacturing and/or industrial automation industry. MS Project and Microsoft Office.   Leading the commissioning of special purpose machinery. A recognised Engineering qualification, alongside a project management qualification such as Prince 2. You'll be able to work to tight tolerances across a range of materials including steel, cast iron, aluminum and bronze.
