About the Role

Are you an experienced Application Support Analyst?

Our manufacturing client based in Leeds, West Yorkshire are recruiting for a motivated Application Support Analyst to join the IT department. The individual will be an integral part of the IT team supporting 1st to 3rd line internal support requests and ensuring the smooth running of a variety of applications. The company is mid-way through a Microsoft ERP migration project, the future candidate will be involved in supporting the project.

 

Key Duties include:

· Oversee the daily delivery of IT support with a focus on supporting the hybrid Microsoft ERP en-vironment and production systems.

· Proactively manage the internal helpdesk, ensuring prioritisation, escalation and resolution to a variety of requests.

· Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to maintain a high level of service.

· Give advice and guidance to key stakeholders relating to technical difficulties.

· Maintain the integrations and transfer of data across multiple systems.

· Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop business process and system improvements inline with the company strategy.

· Support the continuous deployment and enhancement of the companies Microsoft estate.

· Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, and improve system performance.

· Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption of new system and pro-cesses.

Key Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone who is user focused and priorities delivering a clear supportive service. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, curious mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

Essential:

· Strong experience with Microsoft D365 F&O or an equivalent ERP.

· Demonstrate experience of working in a technical role.

· Experience providing 1st to 3rd line support.

· Strong communication skills with a variant of stakeholders to build strong working relationships.

· A proactive, analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.

· Confident in timekeeping, prioritisation and organisation.

· A strong desire for continuous learning and personal growth

Desired:

· Experience working with a hybrid, cloud and on prem environment.

· Microsoft Certification.

· Working in a manufacturing company.

· Experience with supporting PowerBi apps.

· Power Automate or experience with Power Platforms.

· SQL Database queries and maintenance.
