About the Role:

You’ll collaborate with setters, operators, and other departments to guarantee seamless machine performance and respond swiftly to service user needs.
Your responsibilities will range from commissioning new installations and overseeing existing machinery moves to contributing to design and process improvements. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining safety standards, ensuring compliance with hazardous area regulations, and keeping detailed commissioning documentation. Additionally, you will be involved in preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure the efficient running of our machines.

- City & Guilds trained/qualified in mechanical engineering.
- Electrical experience desirable but not essential.
- Experience with FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic technical drawings.
- Competent in using computer systems for data recording and production.
- PLC experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work independently with strong time management.

Cubed Talent are recruiting for an experienced Stores Operatives to join our well-established manufacturing client. Our client design, manufacture and install high speed machinery to both the UK and overseas markets.
The Role
Booking stock in and out on IT system
Receiving, checking, and locating stock
Picking and issuing stock
General Warehouse duties
Moving stock around the site using FLT (Counterbalance / Articulated FLT)
Conducting quarterly stock taking
The Candidate
Previous experience of working within a stores department within the manufacturing/engineering sector
Experience of picking form pick lists
Placing stock into stock locations
Updating the MRP/SAP system
FLT (Counterbalance / Articulated FLT)
Experience in locating stock and resolving stock issues
Experience of participating in stock takes
