Cubed Talent are recruiting for an experienced Stores Operatives to join our well-established manufacturing client. Our client design, manufacture and install high speed machinery to both the UK and overseas markets.
The Role
- Booking stock in and out on IT system
- Receiving, checking, and locating stock
- Picking and issuing stock
- General Warehouse duties
- Moving stock around the site using FLT (Counterbalance / Articulated FLT)
- Conducting quarterly stock taking
The Candidate
- Previous experience of working within a stores department within the manufacturing/engineering sector
- Experience of picking form pick lists
- Placing stock into stock locations
- Updating the MRP/SAP system
- FLT (Counterbalance / Articulated FLT)
- Experience in locating stock and resolving stock issues
- Experience of participating in stock takes
Salary & Benefits

- Temporary (due to last until Christmas, possibility of extending)
- Mon- Thu 7:30am-4:15pm & Fri 7:30-1:00pm

In the role, you will be the backbone of our clients project execution. Overseeing the entire lifecycle of commercial fit-out projects from inception through to completion, you’ll be responsible for ensuring each project meets its budget, timeline, and quality benchmarks.
Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, design teams, and subcontractors, ensuring every project runs seamlessly while adhering to the highest standards of safety and best practices.
About the job:
Manage contracts from initial handover through project completion, including cost management, progress updates, and adherence to timelines.
Coordinate with design and subcontractor teams to drive successful, value-driven outcomes.
Support pre-construction and bid teams, contributing to tender strategies and construction planning.
Lead project/site managers, set performance targets, and guide their professional development.
Ensure all health, safety, and statutory regulations are consistently implemented on-site.
Cultivate long-term client relationships, representing our company in a professional, client-focused manner.
Oversee cost management, financial forecasting, and project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
About you:
Extensive experience in contract and project management within the construction or fit-out industry.
Strong proficiency in NEC and JCT forms of contract, including Design and Build.
Outstanding organisational, planning, and communication skills.
Competency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office.
Proven track record in client management with a focus on service excellence.

The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of plant machinery and automated equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity. Key responsibilities include:
Fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing all plant machinery, including palletisers, injection moulding, and robotics
Performing preventative and total productive maintenance (PPM/TPM)
Fault-finding and diagnostics on PLC systems, including Alan Bradley and Siemens
Working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime
Managing and ordering stock parts for maintenance
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
A recognised Engineering Qualification or be Apprentice Trained
Ideally, hold an 18th Edition certification
Proven ability to fault-find, diagnose, and repair machinery with minimal downtime
Experience working with PPM schedules and within FMCG environments
Preferably 70% Mechanical/30% Electrical though other biases will be considered
