We are seeking CNC machinists to produce engineering components for high-speed machinery. We are seeking a mechanical engineer with working knowledge of trackwork, conveyance and special purpose machinery to join their team following a recent introduction of a product line. Collaborate in the design of new parts and continuous development of existing parts / equipment to ensure competitive edge. Be responsible for prototype testing, working with NPD team to evaluate and report on performance. Complete mechanical specification confirmation documents for machine orders. Provide technical support to the Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions with any manufacturing related queries as required. Work with supply chain & sales depts to ensure commercial viability About You: You'll be apprentice trained and qualified to HNC / Degree level in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering. You'll have solid experience on Siemens NX CAD - Solid Modelling and drafting / 3D solid modelling package and knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure component and assembly drawings are designed for manufacture and cost effective.
