About the Job: As a Multi Skilled Operative, you’ll play a key role in assembling and installing manufactured components to precise specifications. Your daily tasks will involve safely handling, moving, and completing installations to a high standard within set deadlines under the supervision of your line manager. Key Responsibilities Prepare and decorate external product surfaces to meet quality expectations. Apply internal finishes, such as partitions, trims, layout configurations, and painting. Carry out basic joinery tasks (e.g., building partition walls, fitting doors, windows). Undertake plumbing tasks such as sink/toilet assembly and installing fittings. Assist with basic electrical work, including trunking, cabling, and fixture installation, under an electrician’s supervision. Follow safety regulations to maintain a zero-harm environment. Assemble/disassemble buildings, including utility connections, staircases, and more. Travel to client sites to address rectifications and deliver outstanding customer service. Use lean principles to contribute to team goals and exceed performance targets. About You: We need a proactive, hands-on individual with: Basic joinery experience in a construction setting. Foundational knowledge of other trades such as plumbing, painting, and electrics. Problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude with strong planning capabilities. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday; 7:45am – 4:30pm and Friday; 7:30am – 3:30pm Pay Rate: £14.85 per hour, plus the potential to earn more based on skills and performance.
