Key Responsibilities:
Weld products to specification, ensuring a high-quality weld and finish
Work from drawings
Perform MIG welding on mild steel, including welding box sections, fillet welds, and butt welds
Creating flawless finishes on carbon (mild) steels, catering to various thicknesses from 3mm up to 30mm (and potentially thicker on special projects)
Dress off and quality check welded products
Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently (training will be provided for those without overhead crane experience)
What We’re Looking For:
Proven ability to work from drawings and instructions
Previous MIG welding experience
Skilled in laying down fillet and butt welds
Experience in dressing welded products
Keen eye for detail
Welding qualification or previous coding experience is a distinct advantage

The Role:
As a Technical Specification Manager, you’ll be the single technical point of contact for customer design teams from early-stage planning (Stage 3) through to purchase order (PO) or design confirmation (DCO).
