In the role, you will be the backbone of our clients project execution. Overseeing the entire lifecycle of commercial fit-out projects from inception through to completion, you’ll be responsible for ensuring each project meets its budget, timeline, and quality benchmarks.

Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, design teams, and subcontractors, ensuring every project runs seamlessly while adhering to the highest standards of safety and best practices.

  • Manage contracts from initial handover through project completion, including cost management, progress updates, and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate with design and subcontractor teams to drive successful, value-driven outcomes.
  • Support pre-construction and bid teams, contributing to tender strategies and construction planning.
  • Lead project/site managers, set performance targets, and guide their professional development.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and statutory regulations are consistently implemented on-site.
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships, representing our company in a professional, client-focused manner.
  • Oversee cost management, financial forecasting, and project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

About you:
 
  • Extensive experience in contract and project management within the construction or fit-out industry.
  • Strong proficiency in NEC and JCT forms of contract, including Design and Build.
  • Outstanding organisational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Competency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven track record in client management with a focus on service excellence.
  • In-depth understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, with a commitment to promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Full, clean driving licence and NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline.
